When we took on a large project at Blighmont Barracks in February 2018, we knew there would be some logistics to organise - that's natural when ensuring that a high-security site remains that way 100% of the time. So to make sure that the Barracks remained completely secure whilst we replaced the perimeter fencing and gates, we installed and secured all of the new boundaries first, before taking any of the old boundary down.

We installed more than 600 metres of LPS 1175 SR1 High security fencing with Y-cranked barbed extensions, alongside 2 vehicle gates, and 4 pedestrian gates. 

 

What we didn't anticipate however, was 'The Beast from the East', which arrived part-way through the job. Nevertheless, in true military fashion, New Forest Fabrications didn't let a cold weather snap jeopardise the 4-week turnaround we had promised...
